Ripple's CTO, David Schwartz, recently shared some of his criticisms of Flare's much-talked airdrop on Twitter. Blockchain Flare, for developing applications that use data from other chains and the internet, has recently successfully completed its long-awaited token airdrop. After the distribution of FLR tokens to investors holding Ripple in their wallets, many exchanges also started listing. Opinions came from Ripple CTO for FLR, which managed to attract attention.

Ripple Manager Shares His Views on Flare Network

Ripple CTO David Schwartz stated that he thinks Flare buyers can continue to receive subsequent airdrops even if they have sold their initial holdings, which undermines the incentive to hold during the airdrop process.

According to Schwartz, who shared some of his criticisms of Flare's much-talked airdrop on Twitter, holders lose nothing by selling immediately, as anyone who buys Flare tokens can bundle them and get airdrops. Schwartz also suggested that Flare used the XRP community to grow and weakened its commitment when it felt it no longer needed its members.

Emphasizing that his statement was not intended to discredit Flare Networks, Schwartz also included the following in his post: “Flare seems to have tried to deliver only 15 percent of what it promised. However, that doesn't make them dishonest or make their project a bad one. XRP has evolved and has failed to keep some of the promises it made in the early days. You can love Flare as well as XRP. Not one or the other. But I don't have happy and fuzzy feelings about how it turned out."
